Door e Leporello photobooks et al. hanno invitato Katja Stuke e Oliver Sieber a lavorare fra i due spazi realizzando presso la libreria una mostra e un display di libri che racconta il loro percorso artistico e le loro suggestioni e ispirazioni legate al tema della città e un workshop, sempre sul tema della città negli spazi di Door.
Il workshop sarà introdotto da un incontro aperto al pubblico presso gli spazi di Leporello.
I risultati del lavoro degli studenti saranno esposti nei due spazi, con la presentazione delle fanzine prodotte negli spazi di Leporello e una mostra/proiezione presso la sede di Door.

Katja Stuke e Oliver Sieber hanno studiato comunicazione visuale/fotografia a Düsseldorf, dove vivono e lavorano. Sono fotografi e artisti, curatori e organizzatori di mostre, designer e editori di libri d’arte. Tuttavia, non è sempre così facile determinare dove finisce un’identità e inizia l’altra. Indipendentemente da ciò, nelle loro opere e attività di artisti e promotori d’arte sono da tempo diventati moderatori di una cultura fotografica molto specifica. You and Me ha vinto il LUMA dummy book award ad Arles nel 2016. Nel 2013 il loro libro “Imaginary Club” ha vinto il Book of the Year nell’ Aperture Photobook Award.
Il Workshop
Katja Stuke e Oliver Sieber hanno sviluppato una Dérive esclusiva come base per creare una rivista fotografica. Insieme agli studenti elaboreranno strategie per progettare e realizzare, nel contenuto e design, una zine fotografica sulla città di Roma partendo dalla domanda: A chi appartiene la Città?
Dopo aver introdotto i partecipanti al loro lavoro, Katja Stuke e Oliver Sieber si concentreranno sul tema del creare pubblicazioni fotografiche e sulle loro diverse possibilità espositive.
Durante il workshop gli studenti realizzeranno delle immagini, secondo regole e idee di Dérive, scoprendo dettagli della città, ritraendo persone sconosciute e altro.
Obiettivo del workshop è la produzione di una zine da 12 a 20 pagine.
Dopo aver introdotto i partecipanti al loro lavoro, Katja Stuke e Oliver Sieber si concentreranno sul tema del creare pubblicazioni fotografiche e sulle loro diverse possibilità espositive.

Door and Leporello photobooks et al. have invited Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber to work between the two spaces, creating an exhibition and a book display at the bookstore about their artistic journey, as well as their suggestions and inspirations related to the theme of the city. Moreover, they will be holding a workshop -also on the theme of the city- at Door.
The workshop will be introduced by an open talk at Leporello.
The results of the students’ work will be exhibited in the two spaces, namely a presentation at Leporello of the fanzines developed during the workshop and an exhibition/projection at Door.

Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber studied visual communication/photography in Düsseldorf, where they live and work. They are photographers and artists, curators and exhibition organizers, designers and art book publishers. However, it is not always so easy to determine where one identity ends and the other begins. Regardless, in their works and activities as artists and art promoters they have become moderators of a very specific photographic culture. In 2016 their project You and Me won the LUMA dummy book award. In 2013 their book “Imaginary Club” won the Book of the Year in the Aperture Photobook Award.
The Workshop
Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber have developed an exclusive Dérive as a basis for creating a photo magazine. Together with the students they will work out strategies to plan and realize, in content and design, a photographic zine about the city of Rome starting from the question Who owns the city?
